A unique jewelry technique used by Navajo and other Native American silversmiths is called the Shadowbox. What makes this ring so unique is that it's made with two layers of sterling silver- one cutout top layer that is domed and hand stamped that is then soldered to a bottom layer of sterling silver.
This beauty is made with a bright blue Carico turquoise stone with black and quartz running through. It looks like water surrounded by little islands. The stone is set in a triangle shadowbox with hand stamping and twisted sterling silver wire. The ring shank is a thick and sturdy for durability but also beautiful as it is also has a hand stamped design.
